英语是一门语言的学习过程，要体现听说读写的过程。《新课标》要求把时间让给学生，要求采取“以学生为主，教师为辅”的教学手段。我们很多时候是做不到的。农村的教学设施简陋，学生素质较低，这让我们的英语教学遇到很大的困难，如何提高英语教学成绩我们的一些做法是：

1、听和读：

从初一开始，我就要求学生买磁带或是从学习机上下载相应的听力材料。每天至少听15分钟，边听边跟读，这样大部分的单词基本上都会读了。在初一第一学期，我就教了音标，一些学生能运用音标来读单词，不会读的跟磁带学，还有再不会的，我会让科代表在早自习或是下午自习的时候教读。这样就能节约时间，使课堂有更多的时间进行情境交际了。重要的句子对话要求学生能背。还有就是值日生报告。内容包括：天气，学生出勤，上一节课或近期所学的重要句子。我是从七年级下学期开始进行，安排学生按位置进行，值日生把星期几和当天的天气情况写在黑板的角落里，并在上课时做值日生报告，这样能使每位学生都有机会发言，并且能迫使较差的学生去询问、去准备。有的成绩差的学生还把发言写在本子上，这种做法目的既锻炼了学生的胆量和培养学生开口说英语的能力。同时也锻炼了学生的写作能力。到九年级毕业，学生已经能够表达很多的内容，口语能力也得到一定的提高。

2、记和写：

由于在第一期我就教了音标，学生可以根据音标来记单词，这样记忆相对就轻松了些，还有就是多听写。每一个单元我会听写一次，讲完一个模块我再听写或是默写一遍。短语和句子就是这样进行。对于不能完成任务的学生，课后再到组长那儿完成。期末复习的时候再把一本书的知识从新过一遍，所有的单词短语句子再重新听写或默写一遍，加强学生的记忆。至于写作，我是从第一期就开始的，学生每周写一篇作文，每个学生亲自拿到我面前修改，错误的地方及时讲解这样学生印象比较深刻。即使有时忙，没有一个个修改，学生写了也是有进步的。这样慢慢的学生就不再惧怕写作了。

学生的坐位，我是采取优差配，这样成绩差的学生能及时的问问题，每个学生有竞争对手，测试没考过对手的要多做作业。这样学生没考上对手后就会下功夫，老考不过会觉得面子上过不去。这样就能在班上形成一种良好的竞争学习意识。

临近中考，大家都将进入总复习，我的做法是既要面向全体，又要突出优生，二者相辅相成。在坚持面向全体学生的同时，更要注重对优生的培养。

素质教育的主阵地在课堂，优生培养的主阵地也在课堂。为了避免复习课的枯燥无味，课堂我辅以一些小游戏、小竞赛等来活跃课堂气氛，激发学习兴趣，调动全体学生的学习积极性。比如在知识梳理的复习课上先引导学生归纳要点，展开讨论；对同学们提出的疑难问题，首先让学生给以解答，培养尖子生；具有代表性的难点，教师给以详细指导。这样既调动了优生的积极性又促进了基础较差的学生，课堂上也就会出现复习课难有的活跃气氛。结合中考英语复习的需要，我们具体进行五轮复习。

第一轮：知识网络。针对学生对已学基础知识已遗忘的共性，本着“依钢靠本”和“温故知新”的原则，要求学生一步一个脚印，使学生从零散知识自然过渡到知识的系统归纳上，使基础知识更加条理化，对语单词短语句子再重新听写或默写一次。每复习一册进行一次阶段检测。

第二轮：专项练习。专练训练分为两类：语法专项与题型专项。按照语法进行分类复习时，立足于知识与能力的横向联系，注重学生应用迁移能力和实战应考能力的提升。

第三轮：《中考指南》。对《中考指南》每一部分练习都进行精讲精练，其中听力、完形填空与阅读理解穿插进行。本轮尤其突出阅读训练，我们精心准备了10套阅读训练练习，每套练习包括2篇完形填空和4阅读理解，用于课内限时训练或课后自测，提高学生的阅读能力，以更好地适应中考。

第四轮：集中进行模拟训练。针对训练中出现的失分点，再进行反复深入的讲解。

第五轮：回归与提高。在考前10天里，我们会一步指导学生自主巩固知识，查漏补缺，突出学生主体，突出考试重点。同时突出和强化书面表达训练，并命题10篇作文，一天一篇进行当堂训练，学生互改与教师抽改相结合，并做好讲评与指导，提高学生的写作能力。

我们还将对学生进行答题规范性训练，培养答题技巧，提高临场应战能力，并针对具体个性不同的学生，给予不同的心理辅导，排除他们的紧张心理。

在这里我希望从各位领导同仁那里得到更好的方法与策略，互通有无，更好地搞好英语教学工作。
